I'm 14 and i've developed a spot under my mouth on my chin and i've never had one as unpromising before, it's really hard and scratchy and theres pus in it. My mom has have them all her life and she say she thinks it is a cold sore. I've never had a cold sore since how can I tell if it is one or just a unpromising spot? Also how can I stop it hurting and make it go away?

if it's herpes (cold sore), it will probably dance away in a few days, but you can get more throughout your life span. it's also highly contagious, so don't kiss anyone!
