I went to the doctor because of stress in my lower right shoulder blade nouns whenever I sat in an mortified position or slouched. I practiced many sports and thought I might have have a back sprain. The doc told me to stop contact sports for a month. During this period, sometime I sneezed and I had sudden sharp pain within the same part of my final where I thought I had a sprain. For 2 days, I couldn't roll over contained by bed, and whenever I coughed, that same spot hurt A LOT. A week passed and it hurts for me to stay seated at my desk in class. I think I enjoy a pinched nerve in lower right shoulder blade. How does doctor verify this and is in attendance anything I can do myself? Medication? I'm only 15. I have be using heating pads. Don't oblige. I temporarily stopped contact sports and stopped playing guitar cuz it hurts. As I am typing, hurts to sit at computer desk.

My husband has a pinched nerve within his back. Besides having a backache his thigh is numb down to his knees. He's been to massage psychiatric therapy afew times, and has been on muscle relaxers etc for times past two months. His backache is gone, but the numbness is still there. The Dr basically told him there's nil they can do for it, except to excercise & stengthen the muscles
