How come sitting on a plane hurts my butt so bad?
Answer: What they all said, plus: A seat cushion on an airliner is designed for durability, not especially cushiness. AND it has to double as a "flotation device"..
I'm guessing because you've got a skinny butt and it's pressure on your bones or you don't move around enough. Bring a cushion or blanket to put underneath you. I used to have this same problem in long movies when I was younger, but now that my butt is almost 38 inches, I don't have so much of a problem. probably because you are sitting in one position for to long. When you are allowed to get up, walk to the bathroom, or at least up and down the aisle. It will help. .
Because you are sitting for such a long period of time. Get up and move around and stretch...when you are allowed. you probally dont have enough cushion back there.lol
