How do i know if my knuckle is broken?
i punched my hard wood desk a couple days ago because i was barmy..i think my knuckles were already lacklustre from bad brusing from punching that desk a week before!
so yeah, very soon my middle knuckle doesnt have bruises on it, but when i poke my knuckle, very weakly, i get excrushiating pain within my hand, and also up my wrist and arm. it last for a couple second, even tho i've taken my finger off.
i've also noticed that my knuckle feel a little squishy.
it doesnt hurt if i move my finger at all..but i hold a lil pain if i make a fist.
Its be, i think a lil more than 2 days..and yeah..i was newly wondering what you guys though of my knuckle.
im 16, and i dont really have health insurance..so how much would it cost if i go to a doctor or get an xray?
should u just dawdle it out?

Answer: You may have a broken bone and it sounds approaching you need to line up for any an X ray or an ultrasound to see what damage you enjoy done so that your doctor can prescribe appropriate treatment for you
I have no idea of the cost of an X sunbeam for you as it depends some on which country you live in and you did not state where you live
Certainly it is still a well-mannered idea to get some rime treatment onto it and also to take some pain nouns such as paracetamol and even to bandage with a firm but not ultra tight cold compress and to even elevate it some in an arm sling
Next time you need to do some punching turn for something softer like a punching bag or a big stuffed pillow and some anger command classes to help you deal beside issues that bother you

i doubt the bone is broken, but if you look on your other hand and feel contained by the same spot there is a ligament there that extends all the path to your finger nails. you may have undermined that tendon, squishing it between bone and desk like that. i am canadian so doctor visit are free for me, i cant help you with price. Try counting to 10 subsequent time, could save you a lot of agony, money, and embarassment next time It will heal by itself surrounded by 8 weeks or so, but likely the joint will be deformed. Immobilize the amalgamated if you can with an ace bandage. Ice it several times a hours of daylight to reduce the swelling. And quit hitting things harder than your fist when you get angry..
It sounds more resembling a tendon problem, which is worse. You should see the doctor, the sooner the better. I'm not sure how much it will cost, but make sure to rota an appointment because the ER is really expensive. i think u should wait a couple days. but respectively day try this "test". see if u can wiggle ur fingers, A.K.A. "playing the piano". if u cant by i'd voice the 2nd day get to a doctor. hope this help..
A chiropractor may be a less expensive option. The ending one I went to had an X-ray domestic device. Ask if they do before you make the appointment.
