How do i cart out my own stitches?
i got seven stitches in my foot and i need to help yourself to them out. i can't afford to pay more money. the doctor said the wound itself was more cosmetic then anything (whatever that means) but i be wondering the proper way to take them out? my boyfriend is going to do it for me and were going to receive sterile stuff to be on the safe side.
i have also been taking REALLY right care of it my boyfriend cleans it every night and follows all the instructions they give us for lacerations.

As long as you know exactly how many stitches you have , you start at the beginning and cut the first one at the knot (usually at the top of the wound), an then near a pair of tweezers pull the section through. A word of circumspection - it will probably adhere a little and will require a small tug to get through, but should come OK.
Continue until adjectives stitches are removed. Clean area.

Get a pair of small scissors and wash them later pour some rubbing alcohol over them and let them dry. Wash your foot and you might want to pour some alcohol over it also. Clip each thread and pull it out individual careful not to pull the knot through the skin You might want to use a verbs pair of tweezers for this.
