In New York State who can I go to to learn nearly becoming a paramedic? I've always wanted to be one but I hold no idea how or who to talk to. I know I hold to become an EMT first, but how do I do that? There's only one community college within an hour of me that offer the training and I don't really know what to say to them or how to go around approaching them. Please help!

One of my friends is a paramedic, you are right, you need to become an EMT first. contained by order to become an EMT you need to step and get the proper training, I do not live in ny state so I am not sure where on earth those are over there but yes you need to hold classes and rack up volunteer hours at a local hospital. Then you need to volunteer at a First Aid Squad where sometimes you will spend the complete night. Wherever you take the classes they should be capable of write you a nice recommendation. You will need to study deeply and give up a lot of your free time volunteering. It is a totally interesting and rewarding experience from what I hear. So take the classes and volunteer. Tell them you are interested in helping empire and becoming a Doctor someday (if you are) and tell them you would really like the experience and to know what to do contained by an emergency situation.
