How do you bring down the swelling contained by fire ant bites?
i was bitten 3 times today on my hands, and i be wondering if there are any home remedies for bringing down the swelling
Answer: any cream with benadryl surrounded by it..
Boy, they sure are vicious little buggars, aren't they?!? The bites are miserable, about the only process to get the swelling down is to ice the nouns. My son stepped in a fire ant hill - barefoot - when he be little, his foot swelled up to about 3 times the normal size. The Benedryl will assist with the itching, but it's best to take it out loud. If you have by any chance arnica at home, arnica have anti-inflammatory properties (or you can find it at any pharmacy).
Also, there's a natural product named "Body Balm", the crucial active ingredient is Arnica extract but it has several lower active ingredients as of camphor, edelweiss, hamamelis, Melissa, chamomile, sage and more.
I have 2 children and I live surrounded by a humid/wet state, so there are lots of bugs on the summer, when we go out to the park or the seaside we always came rear legs with bug bites (mostly spiders and mosquitoes), and we always use this body balm. It in half a shake brings us comfort and the itchy disappears almost immediately.
I’ve been using adjectives these natural products for years and have be so helpful to my family, I really recommend it.
