How do you win rid of discouraging scar?
i used to self harm on my legs...and now i enjoy got some seriously bad scare on the top of my legs. i didn't really look after the cuts and was too scared to progress to hospital to get stitches so some of the scars are really red and raise.
is there anything i can do to get rid of the scare or reduce it?

Answer: Moisturising everyday, does back the skin, as it hydrates it. Bio-oil claims to be helpful, and a friends of mind had a broken arm and have bad scars, and it really help him. It costs around lb8 for a tube, i think (in the UK). It will help contained by the long run.

My wrist and lower arm have 11 scar and I just rub in a great deal of moisturiser and they are becoming less raised and angry looking.
Keep a big pot by whichever bench you sit in when watching tv and rub it in whenever you sit in attendance!
I use Nivea, recommended by physiotherapist, but have heard that Bio Oil is also devout..
I have some nasty scar myself and time fades them but I have hear of some cream that is supposed to help. I reckon a trip to the doctor might be your best bet as if there is something he'll know for sure. Remember that only a doctor can prescribe things that work and you can't buy them past its sell-by date a shelf. Laser treatment can reduce scarring, but it depends how deep it have penetrated the epidermis/hyperdermis.
A sub-surface scar can almost completely disappear with successive courses of laser treatment..
Try bio-oil. bio-oil its great 4 reducin stretch grades worth a try.
