How do you know if your pinkie toe is broken?
I was working on my laptop in my home bureau. The door was open, my dog stole one of slippers and I run out to catch him. Managing to hit my toe & foot REALLY hard on the wall.
Answer: Assume it is. There is no sense to go to the hospital. Take some tape and buddy video the toe to the one next to it. Then use Advil for the pain. Ice can relieve too. Also try to elevate it as much as possible as this will cause the swelling to go down..
i broke my pinkie, and after a light of day it got kinda purple, but then on the 2nd afternoon it swelled up and turned a dark purple, and it started spreading down my foot, it was better after a week or 2, but its still a bit fatter then my other toes :) If its swollen and bruised and very bumpy, odds are it is broken..
It will turn deep purple
and vastly swollen
