How do you restore to health a strained quad?
I recently was at soccer military camp and i strained or pulled my right quad and it hurts like hell when i run and kinda hurts when i walk. It also hurts when i stretch but i rime it at night and use bengay everytime i play. how do you heal it? i call for hellpp nowww!! ):
Answer: Nature will heal it for you hun, all you hold to do is rest, perhaps use pain nouns, more rest. That's all you can do. Hydro therapy tub devices can also help strained muscles. Perhaps if this is an on going problem, you could ask you parents to buy one for you.
They could use it too, as it's not just for strained muscles, they are used to relax & cater to yourself. I'm quite sure your mother could do with a cater to now & again.

Sorry to be the bearer of doomed to failure news, but if you want it to heal properly you enjoy to rest it. The ice is a good concept, but I'm not sure about the Ben-Gay. Talk to your doctor about it. If the muscle itself is strained consequently you may be able to use Ben-Gay or Icy Hot or some other type of muscle liniment, but if the tendons or ligaments are strained you don't want to use that stuff. Also, you have to be amazingly careful when you stretch it. If it hurts, you're doing more harm than obedient. You may be able to stretch it a little, but you may hold to avoid stretching altogether until it has healed. For immediately, stay off it as much as you can.
