We generally use a topical antibiotic. I prefer Bactroban because it is less expected to cause irritation or allergic reactions that Neosporin or Polysporin. Use it for five days minimum, or for two days after here is no more redness or draining.

i had one not long, they're strange little things aern't they. if its infected, you are most likley to get an anti-biotic ointment, such as "fucdin h" cream. this reduce redness, itchiness and, of course, infection. bring it sorted, trust me it wont go away by itself!
