How important is sleep?

does it matter if your sleeping stencil is messed up, even if you get the same amount of sleep if it wasn't messed up?

Whats a good amount of time to sleep?

As a Doctor my sleep pattern is very messed up and i spend most my night in the "On-call room". the healthy amount of sleep time? its when your body isnt tired anymore...and wishes to get up and start the day...Im lately going to persume your a teenager...as a young grown you proplary like sleeping in...sleeping contained by accuatly makes you more tired...so set a good bedtime and a obedient wake up time...also drinking hot milk before bed or even hose...can help you get to sleep quicker.
Sleep deprivation can waste you (I think about 4 days is the breaking point, but I hear that the record is 11), and cause you to hallucinate. Deprivation also make it difficult to lose weight and maybe a pre-cursor to diabetes

Zietgebers also are the cues that trigger drowsiness when you get spout lag, you're "messing with" your circadian rhythm.


Also, the photoreceptors in the eye translate light/dark to the pineal gland that secrete melatonin, which peaks at night and decrease during the day and causes drowsiness and halt in body temperature.

A tough amount of time to sleep is about 7 hours.
