How long after Appendix Surgery.?
Okay well i just get home from the hospital after having my appendix taken out. The doctor said it was the biggest one he ever saw. The request for information i have know is how long should i wait untill i start beside more physical activities. Obviously not now since i can just walk but when would be a good time. I asked my doctor and he said conceivably in 2 weeks but he didnt really give me a unqualified answer. I had been working out every morning after school for football but i know i cant anymore. I just want to know how to do something that will keep me in shape and I dont want to loose alot of the muscle i enjoy worked so hard to gain. So does anybody have any suggestions for what I can do that will hold me in shape and cause no spasm,

I had my appendix out in 2000 and I remember that I have to wait 4 weeks before any hefty lifting. It took a couple of weeks to walk normally again so I don't expect I could really do anything prior to that, but every body is different and you may heal faster than me.Just ask at your next checkup when you can start your goings-on.
