How long does it hold to get better from carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel surgery?
I just had surgery for carpal and cubital tunnel at impossible to tell apart time, on my left arm, almost three weeks ago. I am still in greatly of pain. I have controlled range of motion in my arm. It hurts to bend my fingers and my foot is very weak. The top knuckles of my pinky and ring finger will not bend lacking assistance from my other hand. My fingers are swollen an I have bruises that are finally declining, all over my hand and wrist. The worst affliction seems to be sensitive skin and burning along the side of my arm, from my wrist almost to my elbow. There is of course, significant affliction along th.e incisions in my hand, wrist, and elbow. There is a small portion of my arm that doesn't hurt. Is this much agony after almost three weeks normal? When can I expect it to stop?
Answer: 2 weeks ,.
Healing of the wound will take almost 7 days from the day of the operation but the earlier symptoms may keep on for some time after the operation.
