I had this operation done on March 27th. I'm on short-term disability (till May 5th) and when I see my dr. Thursday she will see if I can go final to work.I'm hoping for the 6th.
Anyway.I'm trying to regain some stamina so I went on a 2 mile hike yesterday...which seem ok but in order to seize to the trail, we had to go uphill which hurt my legs more than my abdominal muscles.
Today I'm foreboding some twinges, not really painful but still there. My dr. be kind of nonspecific about timetables and really lone gave me specific instructions for the first week (lifting, driving, etc.).
Anyone have this done? Just curious more next anything to see what others went through and how long it took to feel "normal" again.

It single took me about 3 weeks to fell normal but almost 4 weeks to go back to work because of the creamy lifting I do. My doctor actually released me to work early because I be healing so good. It took me longer to seize passed the numb feeling I had contained by my lower abdominal area. But, to me the pain after surgery be nothing compared to before. I a short time ago kept in mind that it would all be worth it so that I never have to have the other pain again. Just dangle in there I promise it will adjectives be worth it if you had a lot trouble earlier surgery. Best of wishes.
