i have it in a wrapping but when i walk it sometimes goes out and hurts
i wear sensible shoes similar to trainers and not high heels

trust me,Anyone telling you that 2-6 weeks is the time to heal hasn't suffered a sprain until that time. I did once playing basketball and it took about 1-2 months before it reach about 80%
I had a style and took it off like 1 week after my sprain and it's be 9 years since then and it never fully recovered.
Wear a cast to maintain it sturdy. You want the joints and bones to fuse together properly. If you are impatient like I be, take it off after a week or two-but single at your own risk.
Ease up on sports for awhile but it is ok to train AFTER you removed the cast.

Avoid man on your feet, take anti inflammatories close to ibuprofen or aleve (NOT tylenol), after it feels slightly better and the swelling goes down you still entail 2-4 weeks of rest before resuming exercise, wear good supportive shoes next to good arch supports, a boot like support is better than an ace covering. Don't wear the bandage 24/7. Take your vitamins.

dont walk on... usally takes 2-4 weeks if its pretty doomed to failure.maby 5, put ice on it then warmth everyday for abut an hour. put your pressure on the other foot, not the hurt one.and try walking on it slowly...
depends on how bad you sprained your ankle. usually it takes 2-4 weeks to make well with the right treatments but if its really bad i'd articulate about 5 or 6 to the most.
