Why do they prescribe fentanyl if this is channel to strong for nation?

I lost my index finger and thumb both down to the first joint due to a fireworks accident 29 years ago.I needed stomach-ache meds for over a month and I found that taking the meds on time instead of trying to be a "tough guy" and skipping doses made a big difference.
I had "phantom" pain/sensations for plentifully longer,however that was much easier to manage and I simply needed OTC`s now and then after the first month.My "phantom" agony was in the form of mildly irritated fingernails.They if truth be told had been blown completely bad,hence the term "phantom" pain".
I don`t think that a human being "gets over" a physical loss like that,however I did adjust to my new condition pretty quickly.
I did own circulation problems that took a fairly long time to resolve but was merely a problem in cold weather and my solution was to merely keep those fingers warm.
For me the biggest entry was to just procure through today and leave the rest to God.
29 years later it is in recent times a little bit harder to pick my nose and I am grateful that I still enjoy 18 fully functional digits and a nose to put them in!
Please remember that when adjectives else fails,you can always find someone smaller number fortunate than you and help them.
