How to smartly catch over a groin strain?

My groin is very painful today, after a hard run. I enjoy a worrying feeling that I may have torn or pulled a muscle in my groin.
Are here any stretches I can do to make it better quickly?
I really don't want to put my training on hold for long!

Answers:    Groins take time to make well. Depending on the severity of the strain, it could take a couple of weeks to several months. Stretch it daily, heat and electroshock can help out. Light running or time on an exercise bike can help a little bit as well. As near any muscle pull though, only time and rest will get it heal.
