I cut my self badly with my blade it took off about a inch by inch and a partially piece of skin, it took it clear off and it won’t stop bleeding. I am African American, how can I prevent it from scarring since I seem to defacement easily and I have hyper pigmentation. Please serve! Any tips, to stop bleeding and to prevent scaring. Do I cover it? If so when and with what. Do I set out it be. What do I put on it. I heard that your skin scars when it stretches and dries out, will coco butter or Vaseline be angelic for it. To stop bleeding of any kind, use a bandage and hold pressure on the nouns for a minimum of five minutes. Peek at the wound and if it it still bleeding hold firm pressure for another 5-7 minutes. Most bleeding will have stopped by this time. Considering you acquired this wound 2 days ago, your foremost risk at this point is infection. Observe the tissue around the wound.
