Hi, sorry to hear nearly your spine and it giving you pain. I suggest you go to the Dr. a Spine Specialist right away. I go to a regular Dr. and was diagnosed as having a bruised spinal column. Well, a yr. later my back be hurting worse so I ended up going to a Spine Specialist where I found out that I have 3 Herniated discs. and all that time I had be working full duty in pain. The Company Dr. have given me muscle relaxers without even taking an X-ray or anything. Have your back checked out past it gets worse or you injure it alot more. Mean while do not pick anything heavy up, or do to much. There is not ample information to state one way or the other. I doubt that anything significant has happen for there would have be some dysfunction associated with it. Most likely it be a bruise or a pulled muscle. If it is not constant and only bothers you every once in a while it could be profoundly of things. You have not stated your age, activity plane, weight, height, or occupation which could adjectives play into this. For the moment use ice on the area for more or less fifteen to twenty minutes out of an hour. Some light stretching might also be helpful. This would include lying on the floor next to both legs out straight. Gently bring one knee up to your chest and bear hug it into the chest. Hold that position for give or take a few ten seconds making sure that you do not hold your breath. Do that five times on one leg and then switch to the other. Next bring one leg up as if doing the ingenious movement and then bring the other one up. Bear hug them both into the chest for ten seconds and do that five times. This should give support to to loosen the back muscles. Lastly again on your back bring one knees up to the height of the hip. Keep it at 90 degrees and allow that knees to gently fall across the body until it touches the floor on the other side. Don't force it if it will not jump all the way across. Do that five times and next alternate. Make sure that you maintain good posture as that could also be the raison d`¨ētre of pain. If there is no progress then go see an orthopedist for an nouns.
