Hydrocodone Headache

Ok i took one hydrocodone after i got a tooth pulled. after taking one (on an empty stomach) i get really woozy and nauseous... I have in a minute had a headache ranked at going on for an 8 on a scale from 1 to ten for about 3 days very soon.is this normal...could it be from getting the tooth pulled? someone help me here please...how can i achieve rid of it?!!

Answer:    I doubt that you need to go to the emergency room, but I'm not at hand. Side effects of hydrocodone are dizziness, light headed, nausea, headache, sedation and vomiting. You should never take hydrocodone on an empty stomach. Have you tried to hold tylenol for the headache? Did you only take a total of one tablet?
If the headache does not shift away in the next 24 hours I'd beckon the dentist. Also in the future I would agree to the doctor know that hydrocodoce causes you headaches. For presently I would take tylenol or Aleve. Also run your head underneath a shower, first very warm (as thaw out as you can without burning yourself) then summarily switch to very cold water. Do that a couple of times. This commonly tricks the blood vessels in your manager into contracting and expanding, which helps the headache go away. Hope you touch better.
I also agree with the writter that asked if it was infected, or close to your sinus, these issues for sure could be contributing to the headache. Any type of discharge or bleeding from the site or swelling? You should be capable of call the dentist and atleast get an answering service that might know how to help more.
I think you have need of to see a doctor. Perhaps even go to the ER. It is quite doubtful if the hydrocodone have caused this, unless you have kept taking the hydrocodone. You shouldn't involve any pain killer after 3 days. All kind of things may have gone wrong with the tooth site. It could hold a nerve left explicitly causing the pain or perchance all of the tooth didn't come out or a root may have be wrapped around the bone.... I could go on and on for days. Go see a dentist or doctor. It says that you can transport this medication with or without food - it is possible that you hold had an allergic reaction - hold you taken this before and had any problems? If not afterwards perhaps you have an extreme sinus criticism or an infected sinus - was your tooth removed because it was infected and if so it may enjoy contributed to an infection in your sinus or jaw.
I would stir to a doctor asap and ask for some help - you may need antibiotics or you may own had a reaction to the narcotics within the hydrocodone
