I am have sharp knees headache around my Knee bonnet. I hear a slight pop or crack when i move it up or down

I was running up a hill pretty intensely a few days ago and i notice slight knee pain. Its gotten alot worse and i am discomfited walking because i want to avoid the pain as much as possible. The pain is around the knees caps and its sharp and painful. Can anyone put in the picture me what it is and what i should do?!

Answer:    Well, you could have over extended your ligaments, and one popped, perhaps the ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) which join the upper leg with the lower leg.

Its functions are to keep the tibia (the shin) from sliding forward on the knees. The ACL is what supports your knee, and keeps it stable. So, if you notice a pop during or after your run, when you where coming to a stop, then that's what it is. But to be sure, the syptoms are as follows:

**Feeling or audible range a pop in the knee at the time of injury.

**Pain on the outside and stern of the knee.

**The knee swelling inside the first few hours of the injury. This may be a sign of bleeding inside the knee joint. Swelling that occur suddenly is usually a sign of a serious knee injury.

**Limited knee movement because of misery or swelling or both.

**The knee wobbling, buckling, or giving out.

**After an acute injury, you will probably have to stop doesn`t matter what you are doing because of the pain, but you may be able to wander.

**The main symptom of chronic ACL deficiency is the knees buckling or giving out, sometimes with pain and swelling. This can occur when an ACL injury is not treated.


You're going to need to use an elastic ice pack to gently support it as it supports the weight of your body and consult your doctor. He/she will be capable of x-ray/MRI your knee to find out specifically what's going on..
First of all, GP mechanism general practitioner, which is who you should see about your knees. Until then you need to rime to reduce inflammation then switch to warmness to reduce pain. Begin near ice, switch after seven minutes to heat, later back to ice. Begin near ice and end next to ice, that is what I've other been told.
Do not freeze or burn yourself.
Get thee to a doctor.
Knee problems only find worse.
