i hit my head today and it is really bothering me. do i have a concussion?
Answers:    When I was contained by Trauma Nurse Specialist classes we had a seminar given by one of the Chicagoland leading Neurologists. He said if you hit your head concrete enough to see stars you have actually injured your brain. He said that the injuries merely increase in severity from there. According to him, "seeing stars" was the mildest form of a concussion and that things simply get worse from there.

Whether or not you "have a concussion" depends on how thorny you hit your head. Will you have symptoms? That depends on how hard you hit your team leader and what brain cells might have been artificial. Typical symptoms are a headache, perhaps some dizziness, feeling tired, and they escalate.

If you have a concussion, you would hold these awful headaches, dizziness, vomiting, nausea, difficulty balancing, a ringing in the ears, confusion, disorientation, and difficulty focusing attention.

if your head hurts enough to be worried give or take a few it, then go to the hospital!
