I cant sleep!?
im finding it really hard to get to sleep lately. It's not as if I am stressed at college or anything, and Ive tried to relax before i go to bed close to having a long hot bath or drinking horlicks, but nought seems to work. I spend hours just lying awake not anyone able to relax with my thoughts buzzing around. I end up getting to sleep at about 1am/2am and i enjoy to get up at 7am, so im not really getting the sleep i need. Can any1 lend a hand?

Try meditating (10 to 20 mins), or Yoga. It helps appease your mind. It's the "chatter" in your mind that typically forces you to stay awake. Meditation, for example, helps you level-headed the chatter down. Just sit in silence and simply pay attention to your breathing. Let your mind do anything it wants to. Don't FIGHT any thoughts; just tolerate your thoughts be. But, at the same time, don't get caught contained by them either. Calmly bring your focus back to your breathing when you capture yourself "thinking".
But, your issue could be deeper than just a wandering mind or stress. You might need a professional to look into it.
All the best.
Find something your brain doesn't want to do, similar to reading a boring textbook for something you're not studying. Given the choice between the effort of pointless learning and sleep, surely most brains choose sleeping.
