exactly how cavernous and/or extreme is the cut and how much is it bleeding?

if its numb, you likely have a decent amount of blood loss or you might enjoy hit a nerve.

I would say that it is either your body's automatic response to the shock of an injury, you hit a nerve or because it was a razor, it didn't do satisfactory damage to hurt. Put some rubbing alcohol on it. I have a lot of experience beside razor cuts as I am a magician and routinely perform a swallowing razor trick.
