I cut the side of my foot and it's swollen ?
Need Help. I cut the side of my foot in the lake while on leave. It is sore,swollen I have soaked it. I don't know if it's chipped or not. No pus or nothing approaching that
Answer: If it is swollen it may be infected. Depending on what you cut it on you may need a tetanus shot. I wouldn't take any probability with that, you should see a doctor.
In the meantime, pour hydrogen peroxide on it to kill any germs..
if it looks infected than see a doctor because in that is a lot of germs in the tarn as you know and keep applying ice its probably because you hold a minor damage to the bone and try not to walk on it. GOOD LUCK!!
