I enjoy a knees injury but the doctors don't listen and newly supply me agony medication?
I hurt my knee in 2002 when I slipped running and I knocked my knees out of place. It's been very bleeding since, it has cause me to have some where on earth in the region of 100 days off school since 2003. It swells up greatly, I can put on about half of my body weight on it when it's not uncomfortable. The knee even creaks and locks and cracks when I move it. I'm only 17 as well.
Every time I step to the doctors I'm giving pain medication (I've had all sorts) and they do not work. They give me physio which made it worse (I was near tears every time I was within that much pain)
I've been to loads of doctors. At my doctor's surgery you see whoever is available and we can't afford a private doctor.
My dad who has had a similar injury have an operation which fixed his knee and they refuse to let me hold it even though the injuries are pretty much the same. I'm fed up of being contained by so much pain all the time and having a swollen knees, but no one will do anything. What do I do?
Answers: You are legally allowed to insist that your GP refers you for an MRI scan. This scan will show what and where the problem lies.Usually a minor operation is consequently carried out.
It is because you are seeing different doctors that no progressive chain has been made to organize up to the scan.
From now on when making an appt ask to see a certain doctor each time
