i have a lump under my eyelid on the inside,and since it appeared a year ago i enjoy been getting a constant pain at the rear my eye,what could it be?

My father didn't have a lump but adjectives of a sudden he would get pains "behind" his right eye.. he ignored them, but afterwards he started getting migraines, too... when he finally went to the doctor, it turned out to be polyps... cancer tumors behind his right eye..
