the numbness is in the finger that I got the stitches and the one subsequent to it. They keep going numb. I got the stitches 24 hours ago. The stitches are on my knuckle. Is it conventional to feel numbness? I would think where on earth the stitches are but not the untouched finger.

It is just nerves regenerating & it is commonplace. That happened to me after I had stitches and my doctor told me not to verbs. The numbness feeling will go away, of late give it time. Hope you feel better :)

I dont know nearly numbness, if its stiched in really deep, later yes numbness is completely normal. Also, you must realize your numbness may not be from the stiches at all, it may be only your skin recovering from the wound you had earlier.

What can i do to stop my throat hurting?

Around christmas I get 9 stiches in my index finger. It went from numb to man on fire to shooting pain. the doc said it is only nerve damage.
