I get stung by a bee...what do I do in a minute?
This is the first time I have ever been stung (30 years!) I go to lift the gas pump handle and get stung between my thumb & forefinger. I do not see a stinger & can barely see the spot where I get stung any more. It's a little swollen & pretty hot. The pain have pretty much subsided by now (this was around 20 minutes ago that I was stung) I have no view if I am allergic (I'm guessing if I was that I would know it by now?) and since I can't find a stinger I don't know what to do. Should I put something on it? Or newly leave it alone? Thanks =]
Answer: I have be keeping honey bees for several years now and i feel pretty confident in the region of answering this one. Some form of benidryl or antihistamine will help with the itching and possibly the swelling if taken soon after the sting. You will receive lots of input nearly thinngs like meat tendorizer, tobacco, baking soda an other topical treatments. they are all of late wives tales. I have tried and none seam to work. the toxin of a wasp is different than that of a honey bee. a honey bees venom is an irritant used to defend the hive while a wasps toxin is used to kill its prey. My best advice is to not rub or gash and let it run its course. it is normal for it to be sore for a coupel of days
I hold had stings itch and be sore for as little as a few minuts or as long as a weak.
Sounds strange but grasp an old copper penny and put it on the sting with cartridge. It will go away within an hour. Homeopathic remedy Apis would be my first choice and Australian Bush Flower Essences Emergency Essence cream

The agency I make a remedy bottle, using a dropper bottle from health food store or pharmacy and saturate it halfway up with distilled wet. Then add 1/4 vodka. I then make the addition of 3 pills of my chosen remedy and succuss 30 times (hit on the heal of my hand) then the dose is one drop. I hit the treat of my hand a couple of times between each dose.
IF contained by pain from a burn I repeat ever minute at first and less normally as the drop lasts longer I do not take the remedy if I do not own any pain though. Keep away from electrical, magnetic field. (lamps, computers and microwave sort of things.)
I keep a first aid kit beside mini liquid vials of different combinations including Apis as it is a good remedy for other things except stings (it is made from a ground up pulverized, potentized bee!!)
