I gave blood this morning between 10 and 11 am...the site is hurting like little pin~pricks and a short time ago a soreness and pain every time i move my arm. i thought it was in recent times the bandage so i took that off around 5 but it's still really sore and kinda throbbing. this is NOT my first time giving blood (more like my 7th) but it's never done this before. also the site looks really idk i guess "gushy" is the word...and it's of late really sore and tender...any *real* suggestions on what i should do? it did bleed for a bit after i took off the bandage too, but not too unpromising...

do i use heat or ice to buy and sell with ths? can i take a tylonal even so? thanks...

its possible that whoever took your blood missed the vein the first time and/or messed up contained by some way. i have given blood past also and i experienced the pricks and a bit of soreness until the next day but if the nouns becomes a probem tomorrow you should consult a doctor, as you have given blood since and it seems that you have not experienced this back.

I would try advil opposed to tylenol, and keep it verbs and dry, so I wouldnt use ice unless you talk to a doc. You might want to see a doctor within the morning if this has never happened earlier.
