today i fell and landed on a box which hit my sternum hard. Now it hurts to breathe very much and laugh? Could my sternum be bruised? If so, what should i do?

yes it could be bruised. there is nought that can be done anyway so i wouldnt bother going to the doc unless you really like docs. just pinch some over the counter pain releivers for a few days until the tenderness subsides.

within is nothing you can do for a bruise. it will heal on its own. you hold damanges the dittue and thats the reason it hurts. give it a week and you should discern much better. If you are hurting a little too mych, take advil for anguish relief.
