your regular doctor refered you to a specialist because he cant help you. Specialists usually are booked well contained by advanced and take a while to get surrounded by. If it is bad I recomend going to the ER.

Safe to nick headache medication (watson 540 hydrocodone/tylenol) near oral steroid prescription (dexpak jr.) ?

I shouldn't think you will own long to wait, so just be a bit forgiving and sit where you hear best, when listing to music or watching the tv etc.
You could budge private, as already suggested, but this would be costly.
If you have great trouble and it is affecting your everyday actions, next perhaps your GP could contact the specialist again and ask for an urgent appointment for you?
Good luck

Not the flu next what is it?

sorry but if they have already referred you and its NHS consequently you have to wait for them. Unless you stir private, or take a header to the nearest A & E, but be prepared for a long wait if you do.

Picking on me?

Im not sure...?

I would hope that your Doctor checked your ear for any inner ear infections or wax buildup. Those are two of the most common things that impair hearing. Otherwise you may enjoy nerve damage and will necessitate a test done to see if you need a audible range aid. Try pushing the little ear flap against your ear opening and when you release it does the hearing obtain worse. If so then you have an ear full of wax. If you press that flap and it hurts, you enjoy an infection. There are ear wax softeners that soften the wax and it comes with a moment or two syringe that you flush it out with warm hose, after a couple of days of use. When I do this, I use the drops for about three days, especially at night, and use the syringe when I am contained by the shower. Unless you have had plentifully of ear infections over the years, or been around extremely loud sounds, then I would read out wax buildup. Otherwise it is nerve damage. I preference for you the very best sir.

Do rubberbands for braces hurt?

You said if you are in the center of 2 speaker you can just hear from your left side. When you are in a sports car you can only hear on your right? I would say you enjoy a speaker problem.

Seriously though, have some music running. Put your index finger and close off one ear, see if you can hear anything. Do equal for the other ear. If one of the side is not able to hear, then you can start from near. There are several problem that can effect the ears.
1. You are getting old. you will need some type of audible range aid.
2. You have ear wax build up, this can be solve by going to the pharmacy and getting a liquid medication that you can put within your ears to soften/remove the wax. Warning, will be painful.
3. You can always run to an Asian hair salon and ask them to just enjoy a ear wax cleaning procedure. They can clean your ear wax for you.

* All these are personal preference, not a doctor, if you can't hang about, then have a try at it. My few year dated daughter have ear wax build up and she couldn't hear me for a short period. All i did be remove her ear wax my self.
