So one sent me to a agony clinic. MAPPS pain clinic. They took a urine sample & found pot contained by my urine & the told me I would get no pain pills individual blockers. They rarely work. I just get out of the Mercy hospital in anoka mn. It was the worst experence I hold ever had in 47 years.I have a flair up after injections I went to the ER& was admit. while there the doctors never listen to me, I felt thrash down & humiliated. If blood was poring out of my mouth i would drive another 30 miles to try a different hospital.
Mapps pain clinic is more or smaller number a treatment center for drugs. The first thing they do is try to treat you with out the stomach-ache pills. Once you have entered their doors you are labeled as a drug attic. And treated close to a child. Don't ever go to a MAPPS pain center. unless you want to failure up suicidal with pain. can anyone

Wow, this story you've be through sucks and I'm sorry you are getting the run around it sounds. I know first hand about trying to obtain diagnosis and being treated with smaller quantity compassion then an animal lying on the side of the road.
You are going to have to find a undamaged new physican...do not have your annals transferred as it sounds like your previous doc has this pot info on near and as you said has decided to declair you a "drug addict". Geez, you could perchance have said you tried pot once to see if it helped the affliction because you cant get any help. You will own to stop smiling or get it out of your system as you go and obtain tests because lets facade it. No doc is going to be okay with that. Main problem is you deserve to have your throbbing managed and not be treated like this. I've be there. Try a new doctor...is in that another hospital near you? I would probably fess up eventually maybe sooner afterwards later about the pot. Tell them you no longer smoke but that you have need of HELP! Scream it from the roof tops if you have to. I used to get turned away from ER's too.until I get proper diagnosis and went through hell to get where on earth I am now. I was treated approaching **** to put it midly. I wish you luck, get rid of adjectives these ties and find new docs...you may have to reimburse cash for a while and say yuo enjoy no insurance right now because they can look things up that way too. Sounds close to you also need to report this doctor.he really doesn't have the right to hold labeled you this, send you to places he knows you will recieve just about any treatment.
It takes alot of mouth and leg work...stand up for your rights and you'll see...you will find someone with compassion..the point most docs lack these days. Quite frankly I had so much Nerve distress that if they told me I had to go out and drink mud, I would have.
