I enjoy injured my shoulder at work. Am I entitled to receive full pay packet?

I am a forklift driver and whilst unloading a vehicle I dropped a tall box. I picked the box up and caused myself to rupture my rotator cuff. I be taken to the local A&E where the doctor signed me off work near a 21 day sick note. "To get going with", the doctor said.

I will have to have surgery to sort my shoulder out inwardly the next three weeks so I will have to be stale work for some time to come by the looks of it.

I have just received my wage packet for end week and my boss hasn't paid me for the two days that I had to nick off, and he will now undoubtedly not be paying me full wages for my time bad work on sick.

My question is, because I was injured contained by work, carrying out my normal duties, and I am physically unable to work, am I entitled to full wages?

I own been working for this company for 20 months.
Answer:

Numbness and Pain?

Sorry to hear about your injury but it doesn't appear to be the firm's fault. Therefore unlikely that the firm have to wage you.
However as you are ill, I would have thought that you would be entitled to statutory sick pay cheque

Getting hit on the go before, how desperate is it?

I presume you signed waivers when you started work stating that you acknowledged the safety aspects of your work. Sorry to say, you be neglegent as you decided to lift something you should not hold been lifting. Should you get compensated is up to the company. Should you sue? Probably not, infact if you use insurance and the company pays for it in anyway, they could sue you for a refund.

Could you enlighten me if I could thieve AMITRIPTYLINE FOR REAL BAD BACK PAIN I GOT THIS PASCRIBED TO ME?

You may qualify for your state's short-term disability. And you call for to find out what your company's policy is for sick time as well as workers compensation.

My company offers 66% of regular settle for disability as a standard insurance offering and I can pay extra to make it 100% of regular payment.

Is my ankel sprained or fractured?

If you live in the United States then you are entitled to Workman's Compensation. Basically, your boss have to have insurance on all of his team and should have turned this claim into them within 24 hours of it up. Whatever insurance company they use is who will send you a check for the time you ar off work. They will also hold to pay for ALL of your medical bills and any physical therapy you have need of after the surgery. If you haven't received anything yet, call your employer and ask them to contact the insurance company. If they proscribe you need to get yourself a workman's compensation attorney, which you can find contained by any local yellowpages phone book.

Question going on for Tylenol 3 next to Codeine?

Your Company should have a sick pay type of entity (called SSP). Im off work at the moment not very powerfully, and i get up to a week off no question, after that week i have to go see a doctor and catch a permit off him to say-so that i am truly sick/unable to work. Then before i go rear my doctor he will have to see me to get a authorization to work. Im not sure if this will apply to you but im pretty sure its the law. It shouldnt matter how long youve be with them either, i enjoy been with my company since december.

To bring SSP you must be:

Sick for at least 4 or more days in a row (including weekends and guard holidays). This is known as a Period of Incapacity for Work.
Earn, before import tax and National Insurance an average of lb90.00 a week. This is called the Lower Earnings Limit for National Insurance Contributions (NIC). The amount you need to earn is lower than the amount when you enjoy to start paying NIC’s or would start paying if you were treated as an employed earner.
Your earnings are averaged, over an 8 week term before your sickness began. This extent may vary slightly depending on whether you are paid weekly or monthly salaried, or at other intervals. If you have just started your profession the calculation may be different, contact your employer for more information.

If you answer YES to adjectives the above, claim SSP

Evidence that you are sick

Your employer will ask you for evidence that you are sick. This will usually be in the form of a sick note from your doctor.

But your employer cannot ask you to provide a sick make a note of, for the first 7 days that you are sick. They may ask you to fill in a self-certificate of their own or form SC2 which you can achieve from your GP's surgery, or HM Revenue & Customs website.
