I hurt my shoulder 4 weeks ago during bench press.
It is kind of sore. I strained too hard while pushing and feel a pop or snap in between my right shoulder and collar bone. It pops pretty loud when i make the bench press motion and when i arrive at across my chest, and it hurts quite a bit. I do have full catalogue of motion though. I had an x-ray and there is no bone spoil. What should i do? Will this ever heal? Should i be worried about the snapping and popping within my shoulder/collar bone/ chest area? (Sorry for being so detailed lol...Please serve. All answers are deeply apreciated.)
Answer: Don't apologize for giving details; they're absolutely essential to know what's going on. The more details you distribute a doctor, the better they can help you.
I think you are probably right to be concerned almost the shifting and popping. Based on what you described, it sounds like you might have torn a ligament surrounded by the front part of the shoulder joint. That would explain the popping nouns, which is caused by the head of the humerus slipping odd when you move your arm. It would also explain the persistent pain and withdrawal of healing (ligaments are slow to heal and recurrently need to be surgically reattached if torn). Your shoulder might be subluxing (partially dislocating) when you make sure movements--extreme pain when reaching across the chest or touching the opposite shoulder is one of the cardinal symptoms of a shoulder dislocation.
In any crust, an unstable shoulder is never a good thing to live beside. It might be a good idea to drop by a doctor or orthopedic specialist who can give you a thorough check-up..
just permit it heal, this happened to me one time when i be benching, i didn't have the correct form to bench . It just may thieve a lot more time. try seeing a chiropractor about it. they can give a hand & their advise is priceless. good luck
