I reflect I own a hernia but am not sure
I have a small lump above my testicle and i do not know if it is serious or not. I noticed almost 1 week ago and it doesn't really hurt but my groin has become even more tender than normal. How can I report to if I have a hernia or not?
Answer: Hi, I had a hernia a year or so ago and it be just above my belly button. A hernia is part of your intestines poking through a crevice in the muscle wall. I could tell that this is what it be because i could push it back temporarily. If i tensed up my insides it would fill near fluid, and then i could feel the fluid person pushed back inside if i pressed it quite firmly. It would mute in size then slowly restock again. It's probably not a hernia if you can't do this with it - this is the test my GP get me to do for the initial diagnosis..
You need to go to a doctor. This could be zilch or something serious and only a doctor can tell you. Your best bet is to travel to a doctor as soon as possible.
