I enjoy get this small black dot following my eye adjectives the time, what is it?
I've heard it's called a floater...?
Answers: It is a dead spot on your retina and yes, some individuals call them floaters. You need to take trouble of your eyes and learn about what nutrition supports the eye. You will NOT get that from your doctor because doctors own NO clue about what is good and bad nutrition. They promote "fashion believe health" with drugs and surgery.
I suggest you seek out a Certified Nutritional Therapist and learn what is virtuous and bad for those eyes.

Problem 1. This is nothing serious. It may be due to speedy adjustment of the pupil, lids, eyemuscles or eyelid, adaptation from dark to standard lamp.Problem 2. These are entopic phenomena. Use the search feature on this website they have be discussed at length and repeadedly. Use 'google' if you want a more in depth discussion. There are many types of entopic phenomena.
Problem 3. The black dot is most likely a vitreous floater. When you sleep on your fund the back of your eye-- in the middle-- is the most dependent part (the lowest center of gravity). Loose refuse will accumulate there especially as people go and get older and the vitreous turns from a jello like consistency to water close to consistency. When you stand up its in your visual axis and you will see it until it moves to the most dependent part ( the bottom of the eye) The dot slides down near and out of the line of sight.

there are little things that float around surrounded by your eye all the time. They are called floaters most of the time. they are really really tine and you cant see them in the mirror but you can see them sometimes when the flimsy is right and you focus right. This is normall and everyone has them. Unless you have something really wrong with your eye resembling something stuck in you retnia then you may need to bring it checked., but this would also be accompanied with a lot of anguish in most cases. It sounds like a floater There is a fairly small adjectives (about 5%) that you could have a small retina tear or detachment and that will be determined then. Please avoid strenuous commotion and strenous or repetive bending over as this will cause the most movement of the vitreous. Call your doctor if you develop any new flashes or changes surrounded by vision

What is your age?Chances are it is just a floater...floaters are generally non-hazardous, just annoying. My mom gets one that is a black dot that swings pay for and forth over her eye.
If you are older (i'm saying middle aged) it could be your retina detaching. That also looks like a black mass swinging around surrounded by your eye. This can be a serious problem and is fixed using a laser procedure.
You really should go to the eye doctor and get it checked out, regardless of what you think it is. Better out of danger than sorry. Source(s): Experience

It is a adjectives spot in your retina and it may or may not go away. it depends on the time it takes to and what you did.I surmise a floater is when it looks like you've got a speck in your eye. As for your black dot i'd probably turn and see your doc.
