2 days ago, I smashed my index finger in the window. You see, i live within an older home so the windows don't stay up on their own. I be propping the window up with a metal rod, it slipped somehow and the pane fell fast and wedged my pointer finger between the rod and the pane. The main impact was on the inner quantity of my finger near the bottom. I iced it right away but 2 days later I still hold no feeling in the inner part of a set of my finger! Almost like it is "asleep". Its especially noticeable at the tip (typing right very soon is a pain, trying not to use it too much.) Will feeling return? Do I simply need to wait it out? Should I try not to use it and protect it or use it within efforts to get the nerves and fear going again?

Ive jammed/possibly broken a couple fingers too, and they were numb too. My mom called the doc and asked give or take a few the numbness and she said it had to do with the swelling. So. i would articulate don't worry about it for in a minute but if its not gone within 2 weeks see whats wrong, you might have brass neck damage.
