Answer: I coughed like mad and pulled a muscle in my chest. It felt approaching my lungs were collapsing or something.
Try ibruprofen, it eases swelling and inflamation resembling muscle pain and can be really cheap to buy too..

I did it 2 weeks ago, i'm below physio for my back anyway they said keep my guide back to reduce tautness of muscles in the back when you sneeze because i own hayfever i kept sneezing try and get into a comfortable position when you feel close to you are going to sneeze to stop your back muscles being pulled, strained tec and use roast on your pulled muscle whether it's heat creams or a hot water bottle muscles close to heat more than ice upright luck and it should start to get better soon try stretching the muscles because it will be all tensed up if you enjoy pulled it good luck ;) Yup - I've done it before.
One time it be one of the muscles down the side of the spine - Parecetamol helped as I think it is an anti-inflamatory.
Another time it be an intercostal muscle (between the ribs and hurt if I breathed in deeply).
I Find that for back strain that is muscular (sounds like yours is) serene movement is better than total rest. Should ease over a day or so.
