I was bare-footed and playing basketball. I ran up, feel comething prick the bottom of my foot and looked down. There was a sharp, thick piece of cup about an inch into the bottom of my heel. I got it out and in a minute I think there is still chalice inside it.

If you soak your foot contained by (warm) water the skin will soften and you can easier find and remove any cup still left in at hand. If it's indeed a deep injury and you haven't kept your Tetanus vaccinations up to date you may also want to capture that. See a doctor when in doubt!
