I wake up at 3am every night and can't fall back asleep. Is there something to help me sleep?
Answer: Aside from the general "get good excercise" and "don't nap during the day" advice, here are some other suggestions that I've known to work:
1. Take a Benadryl. It's an antihistamine, so regardless if you're having allergy problems, it'll knock you out. (I practically treat it as an over-the-counter sleeping pill).
2. Read and keep reading until your mind is so sleepy it's no longer processing what it is you're reading. It's then you'll know you're dropping off.
3. Don't want to sound inappropriate, but I want to help: masturbation. It's actually proven to be a natural cure for insomnia. Many docters actually recommend it for that purpose.
Hope I could help!!.
marijuana use has been shown to help those who suffer from insomnia, and one of its natural effects is sleepiness.
based on personal use, i can smoke weed, go to sleep for only like 5 hours a night, and wake up feeling like i got 12 hours of sleep. also, unlike alcohol, which can knock you out right away, only to wake up later int he night, weed can put you to sleep and keep you asleep.

I would suggest first going to the doctor and seeing if you have any sleeping disorder and the cause of this. I think most of this kind of problems (insomnia, headaches or migraines, etc) are because of the daily stress. I’m going to suggest some natural products that had been working on my family for years.
There’s an oil that my mother-in-law uses named Melissa bath essence (relaxing and soothing), she’s supposed to take a bath whit this oil but she doesn’t really have the time for the 15 minutes bath so what she does is to put her feet into a warm water container (the hottest you can handle the better) for about 10 minutes and puts about 5 drops of this oil into the water and while she does this, she’s checking up her emails or watching some tv show. Then immediately she goes to sleep. She suffered insomnia for many years and at the beginning she used to add into the water about 5 drops of an oil named “ant-stress” for a few months, then she didn’t needed it anymore and uses just the Melissa oil.
I have a two years old son that used to sleep into my husband’s and my bed and I made the transition to his own bedroom and crib. He awakes several times in the night so I tried the Melissa oil as well. Every night I give my son’s his last bottle and while he’s drinking I rub ONE drop of this oil into his soles of the feet and since then he sleeps so tight ‘till next morning. I’m not afraid of using this because this is a natural product that doesn’t develop dependence.
These oils are concentrated so a few drops works perfectly and last for ever!

Maybe, someone from the other part of the globe is thinking of you! ;) Or maybe, due to old age :)
Well, all you got to do is simply press your fingertips. All of them. Then pray. I am sure you will sleep soundly.
Take care and GOD BLESS!.
well if you can. think about something interesting wether... planning something.. going over things.. or what i do is put myself in scenarios and dream of what woukld happen. sounds wierd but it puts me to sleep easy. I use to havetrouble sleeping and i found that the more i wore myself out during the day, the better i slept. Go for a run b4 bedtime or something. Good for ur health too..
As Mr P said, marijuana works like a charm :D Pills.
I'd stay up 24 hours and then your sleeping schedule will go back to normal go the the kitchen and eat strawberry jam
then get back to bed
