AIGHT AFTER A WORKOUT EVERYDAY I BE LEFT SWEATY AND FEEL DIRTY SO I WANNA GO AV A ICE COLD BATH BUT I AV FEW QUESTIONS:

1.IS IT SAFE TO HAVE ONE? LIKE I AINT GUNNA STEP IN AND FREEZE, BLACKOUT?

2. HOW LONG SHOULD I STAY IN FOR?

OH AND I KNEW U THINKING ABOUT IT JUST DONT WORRY ABOUT BE GETTING HIT BY AN ICE BURGER IN THE BATH BECOZ I GOT MY ICE BREAKER ;)

Answer:    Hypothermia can set in between 15 minutes to 12 hours depending on how low is the temperature. Temperatures lower than 0 scope C or 36 degree F can cause hypothermia fastest. Cold dampen is more dangerous as the body temperature lowers 25 times faster within cold water. An adult body is powerful of survival from 45 minutes to 3 hours after hypothermia sets in, through the 3 stages of hypothermia.

Hypothermia occurs when body warmth falls below its normal level which is 98 point F or cooler. In the first stage of hypothermia is constricting of skin and blood vessels, increase in blood pressure and heart lick.

The 2nd stage will lead to a drop of body temperature by 2 to 4 point C. shivering is violent, stumbling pace and mild confusion, object becomes pale. Lips, fingers and toes may become blue. Body heat drops below 32 degree C or 90 degree F surrounded by the 3rd stage which will cause the cellular metabolic processes to shut down and clinic death occur.
I'm not too sure about taking an ice cold hip bath. It doesn't sound as if it would be safe. If you do it don't stay surrounded by too long, maybe 3-4 minutes at most. I don't know how long it takes to develop hypothermia but I don't believe it take very long. Why don't you just hold a nice cool shower. Not cold, but cool. It is very refreshing and you can stay in it longer. It is not correct for you to be very hot and then procure into an ice bath unless it is an extreme emergency close to heat stroke or something.
