I just came out of a full leg make a few days ago and it felt soo good to be capable of bend my knee and scratch adjectives my itchy skin haha. But i just found out that they will have to put on the sort again.. for longer than it was on before. Is here anything i can do before hand to try and stop the itching (ex: lotion on before) or any appropriate advice you have would be great!

I would suggest giving your leg a nice rub down contained by some johnsons baby oil lotion,
this is a clear gel close to baby oil.
it is gooey,
it will eventually dry up but if you can put some on from now until you get casted again(right previously too)..
only problem is that it is really oily until it dries contained by...so be sure to wash your hands all right aftr putting it on your leg...
also....
DO NOT SHAVE
if you do, the hair growing back contained by will drive you nuts...
ask them to leave a little "space" so you can go and get a scratching stick down there..
but mind your Ps and Qs,
if your skin is dry,
it will just irritate you more..
if you do use something to "scratch" while in a form,
make sure it has rounded edges,
I stuck something within my cast,
and by the time i was competent to get it out,
i had torn the bin liner in the cast,
and it drove me nuts.

Don't shave your legs up to that time hand. I know the urge is strong, but it will just build the itch worse. And it's not like anyone can see it while its in the style anyways =)
