I'm on blood thinners and worried?
ok so for about a week now ive be on blood thinners.. i have some clots in my vanished arm.. so my doctor put me on plavix.. and im also on ortho-tri-cyclen lo birth control.. and today i got my period.. i usaly win it in the afternoon but when i woke up blood was everywhere.. not its my majority period but im still scared i might bleed to much.. im suppose to start a unmarked pack of pills in 4 days.. but if i start them today.. will it stop my period and if it does will i be ok? or is that not tough?
Answer: yes it will stop your period and i would do it long enough to be in motion the doc about the blood thinners and then stop takin my bc pills again fora few days so you can own your cycle. And yes it's healthy. People take seasonale bc and on that you merely have 4 periods a year. With an IUD most nation don't even have a period.
