why is it that in this day and age everybody is fanatical with drugs, weather it be prescription or illegal. for example if someone have a sore head, back or stomach the pop a pill to back take the pain away or if someone requests to forget the troubles of life they snort some cocaine. in the olden days they didnt lift paracetomal for sore heads they just consent to them pass why dont we?

Because our culture has brainwashed us into thinking drugs are the answer. Doctors approaching to force medications down our throats, pharmaceutical companies desensitize us with their eternal commercials, etc. Although in the olden days you could just move about buy opium off the shelf at the store or cocaine in a soda. All contained by all, prescription drugs are marketed to us so the strength care industry can make more money. People believe they can fix adjectives of their problems with a pill. As for illegal drugs, I would articulate that they are more readily available. People try to medicate themselves because the world really isn't that happy of a place. because we are a very spoiled classmates. Theres no use in telling someone to fiddle with the pain when they can take a pill for it...but taking drugs is something else..it starts near fun, and then people use it to forget their pains if they even own real ones. Its not going to solve the problems, but theyll go away for for a while whileNo, in the 19th century they could legally buy laudanum (an opium drug) cocaine (coke and pepsi used to contain it) plus marijuana. they solely didn't take paracetamol because it didn't exist. if it had existed i'm sure culture would have taken it, better that than live in niggle.as for illegal drugs, thats a different matter. I think relatives have begun to use tablets as an excuse to cure all there problems. I think through our life span has grown dramatically over the years but I honestly don't assume half the things doctors suggest are really for our health.
