Injured knees! steam or cold? back please!
ok so i was at cheerleading tumbling and i was doing a full and didn't manor it and i popped out my knee cap reallly discouraging! it hurts right now and i was wondering if i should put roast or cold on it? 10 points best answer! thank you! =]

i learned a few tricks. the elevate and alternate does wonders, youll be back on your foot in a couple days. Never ever use heat. You'll trademark it swell much worse. Use cold pack on it for 20 mins on and 40 mins off. Rest the knee, use a cold pack and insubstantial compression with an Ace bandage to hold it within place, and slightly elevate the knee. Consult with a sports physician as soon as possible..

20 minutes of hot AND cold
and ibuprofen or another anti-inflammatory med.
RICE= REST , ICE , COMPRESSION AND ELEVATION. SEE A DOCTOR TOMORROW IF YOU CANT STAND OR WALK cold cold rime, 20 min on 20 min off, for a couple of days at least.
