Injury Lawyers... are they a correct model?
I broke my wrist last year whilst at work from slipping on a wet floor and am immediately a little skint so thought it might be a good hypothesis to try and claim some money back from my old company!
I enjoy found, what sounds like, a great injury lawyer company, they are call Accident-helpline. They said that I literally will not have to pay any costs at adjectives and will keep 100% of my compensation.
Do you think that it is worth going for this??
Answer: Could be worth pursuing them BUT..
read the small print surrounded by the enclosed documents.
Sometimes there is a clause which edges the amount they can spend pursuing the defendant (your old company) - if that limit is reach - they have the option to close the casing or make some charges.
I know - I am just surrounded by the process of using a company in London and pursuing my son's school for an injury he sustained whilst below a teachers supervision in class and the small print open up differing options if they should choose to safeguard the action - i.e. If the drag it out the time and money limit may be reach and then the case could stop or they could charge me or we could come to an end up going to another solicitor.
As a rough guide - if it takes 3 months - then you will be close to the cut rotten point.
you should hope that they do not contest the case you bring and accept liability - afterwards it is straightforward - insurers pay up and you get your money and the insurers clear the solicitors cost.
First of all, NO LAWYER will allow you to keep 100% of your settlement so you better double check that back you sign any paperwork with them. Secondly, when you hurt your wrist last year did you report it inside 24 hours to your employer or human relations office? If not, you have no claim.
Also, if you did report it and you prefer to sue your employer for benefits, be ready to wait at lowest possible 2 years (minimum) for any kind of settlement because you will be suing their Workmans Compensation Insurance company and they don't like to compensate claims. Especially one's that are over 1 year old..
If it sounds too good to be true, it IS! They enjoy to be paid and nothing is free, so don't nose-dive for that one.
Didn't you have a workman's comp claim? If so, you can go put a bet on and open the claim to determine the level of disability and be compensated that opening. Sometimes with money, sometimes with lifetime medical prudence.
Beware that future employers do not look gently upon people who are out to "sue", so don't let this interfere beside your future. I am not saying your claim is not lawful, but these are genuine concerns to look at..
depends on who you go next to
injury laours for you is great sure why not ... the rest of the country does.as my insurance gets more and more expensive.
thanks america!
