Is it officially recognized to call for 911 when the individual need the comfort is within another state?
Even though you saw that person on television? And know the address and adjectives?
Answer: 1. Yes, it's legal...BUT:
2. "Even though you saw that person on Television"? THAT element of the question probably bears more explaination BEFORE you hail as 911.
The best answer: If you know the address, go on google and search for the police or sheriff's department for that city/area. Call their non-emergency number nominated on their website instead of 911.
If it's on TV, it's probably a good bet its not an emergency..
I don't really know about the in one piece television stuff, but one time, a long time ago, I was chatting to a friend surrounded by Canada. I thought I'd mess around with him and said "Omg, I hear tapping noise outside the door. There's somebody there!!" and I started freaking out. And of course my internet have to screw up right then and at hand. About 15-30 mins. later, the police called my house to see if everything be okay. Turns out my friend in Canada thought I was getting attacked and must've call 911 or something. It isnt illegal to call 911 but here clearly is no point to call a 911 station that is local because they can't do anything in the region of a patient in a foreign state! .
you can phone 911. your 911 center can call the correct agency for you. I had a couple friends online do it when another friend be having a heart attack. that saved her energy!! You can call 9-1-1 but the problem is the call will walk to your local 911 center.
