What to do around a commander injury?

Not sure give or take a few the spoon but i have been told that leaving the food surrounded by the can itself is dangerous. I'm not sure why but i think it has something to do near the metals leaching into the food once the can is opened? Not exactly sure though. But i never eat food left over within a can.

I believe the concern is that the food will become contaminated by the spoon if it had been anyone's mouth. The bacteria from the mouth be on the spoon which in turn contaminates the food and then grows in the can of food Source(s): RN

You are not suppose to chomp through food from a can that has been lying around or been contained by the fridge the metal from the can contains toxins in which opened will contaminate the food and make it 'poisionous'
